Our mission is bigger than business—it’s about transformation. We aim to reshape the entrepreneurial landscape by breaking cycles of poverty, formalizing informal businesses, and empowering future leaders. With a deep understanding of historical inequalities, we approach every initiative with purpose, passion, and long-term vision.
We are proud to be a catalyst for change, empowering communities, unlocking potential, and building a legacy of economic inclusion for generations to come.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our greatest challenge has been breaking through systemic barriers that continue to limit access to opportunities for youth, women, and entrepreneurs in township and rural communities.
While talent, passion, and entrepreneurial spirit are abundant, access to funding, formal compliance support, infrastructure, and long-term mentorship remains painfully scarce. Many individuals we work with have the ideas, but not the tools. They are eager to grow, but face red tape, lack of digital access, and limited exposure to formal markets.
The hurdle isn't just poverty—it's structural exclusion.
We have had to work tirelessly to build trust in underserved communities, navigate bureaucratic systems, and advocate for inclusive policies that reflect the realities of grassroots entrepreneurs. We've often had to create our own pathways which one of them is having a discussion with Thami Zondi who is the Chief director at KZN EDTEA a memorandum of understanding with the department, designing development models from the ground up and partnering with like-minded organizations willing to invest in potential over perfection.
Despite the challenge, this hurdle has become our greatest teacher. It pushed us to be **innovative, relentless, and deeply rooted in our mission**. It sharpened our ability to lead with empathy, build from the ground up, and create programs that meet people where they are—while guiding them toward where they can go.
Today, we’re proud to say we’ve not only faced the hurdle—we’ve turned it into a bridge.
