What does your company do?

Tech4good Service- South Africa Flying Labs(SAFL) 4IR Workshops for the learners based in the rural areas , informal settlements and townships. We try to close the digital divide by exposing our beneficiaries to different kinds of emerging technologies such as gaming, virtual reality, drones and 3D printing We map vulnerable communities that are affected by climate change (floods) by implementing disaster risk mitigation interventions using drones We train unemployed youth from those areas on how to become Disaster Risk Management Champions using drones We offer Master classes on DRM We offer DRM annual conference in partnership with QP Drone Tech

What is your biggest success?

1. Being the first company in South Africa to host the first Conference in using drones and robots for disaster risk management sponsored by SANTAM, UNICEF-SA and ESRIE-US. 2. Winning several global and local awards such as the following : Humanitarian award in Washington DC The Innovation award presented by the President of South Africa Best ICT women Leader in Africa presented by Minster Pandor 3.Co-authored a drone book that hit number 1 spot on Amazon in US, Germany and Spain 4.Featuring in several global and local media houses Voice of America eNCA,Radio 702,Power FM , SABC amongst others

What has been your biggest hurdle?
