Rachelle's Holistic Fitness Center For Women
What does your company do?
My name is Rachelle Linderoth. I am 51 years old & a mother of 5 and married to the most amazing man, whom I love dearly. I am a certified Exercise Specialist & Personal Trainer. I am home-based & I work with women only. I’ve developed a healthy balanced method of eating and training to lose weight (kilograms, centimetres & body fat percentage) while toning at the same time through lifestyle changes. I don't encourage deprivation but lifestyle changes with lasting results.
My method of training is holistic & addresses the whole person and it is multi-functional; this enables you to use all the muscles with the main focus on the core (belly area). My method of training produces results on condition that you follow my guidelines. I evaluate the needs of my clients by conducting a detailed physical readiness questionnaire & fitness assessment which enables me to design an individualized exercise program. I monitor your weekly & monthly progress & provide you with a detailed report of every assessment. I also teach you how to execute exercise, form & technique efficiently & provide nutrition guidelines, advice on weight control & adapt exercise programs to risk factors & special conditions. I am extremely passionate about what I do. I don’t see it as work but something I love doing. I have been fully booked for the past year with a waiting list because of the passion and love for what I do.
What is your biggest success?
I am privileged to work with my oldest client who is 100 years old, she started training with me when she was 98 years old. I would have never known that you can improve your health, well-being and quality of life at this beautiful age until I had the opportunity to train with her. Training with her has taught me an invaluable lesson that it doesn’t matter how old you are, if you work with your body and create the right conditions the body will heal itself. With this knowledge and experience, I have experienced the management and reversal of so many conditions like PCOS, fatty liver, graves' disease etc. I am extremely passionate about what I do. I don’t see it as work but something I love doing.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle has been space and getting more equipment to fit the space I have. Most of my sessions are one on one. I do have a few ladies that train together, but I can accommodate a maximum of 3 ladies as a group and the ladies has been asking for bigger group sessions. So, space would be me my biggest hurdle for now. However, my aphorism in is to do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
