What is your biggest success?
Our biggest success has been the successful rollout of integrated solar and backup power systems for residential estates and small businesses across Gauteng, helping clients eliminate reliance on the grid during load-shedding. One notable project involved equipping a 12-unit complex with a centralized solar system, enabling tenants to save up to 60% on electricity bills while maintaining uninterrupted power. This not only proved the reliability of our design and installation approach but also led to multiple referrals and new business opportunities. The success reinforced our commitment to accessible, smart energy solutions and demonstrated the real impact solar can have on improving energy security and financial resilience for everyday South Africans.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle has been **navigating the high upfront costs of solar installations** in a market where many clients understand the long-term benefits but struggle with initial affordability. While demand for alternative energy is growing due to load-shedding and rising tariffs, limited access to financing options has delayed adoption for many potential customers—especially in underserved communities. To overcome this, we’ve had to actively seek partnerships with financial institutions and offer flexible payment plans. Educating customers about return on investment and system longevity has also been key. Despite the challenge, it has pushed us to innovate, streamline our offerings, and work toward making solar energy more financially accessible to all.
