SWAT (Super Women Achieving Together)
What does your company do?
SWAT (Super Women Achieving Together) is a NPC created by women, for women, dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support charities that directly benefit women in need.
The core activity of SWAT centres around organizing an annual fundraising event designed to bring women together in a celebratory and empowering atmosphere, with a focus on fun, dance, and solidarity. All proceeds from the event are directed to support various charities that serve women in need. Planning for the event begins months in advance, with tasks that include securing the venue, coordinating with performers and sponsors, and promoting the event through social media and other channels.
The event itself serves as a major fundraising effort, with the goal of fostering a sense of community among women while raising essential funds for charities supporting causes such as domestic abuse shelters, educational programs, and healthcare initiatives.
Every activity undertaken by SWAT is in alignment with its core mission of supporting women and empowering communities through fun, engagement, and charitable action. From fundraising to advocacy, each initiative is carefully designed to ensure maximum impact.
What is your biggest success?
Our biggest achievement has been raising impactful funds through the SWAT fundraising event, while building a movement that brings people together for a greater cause. Behind the scenes, a lot goes into the production of the event- from planning to promotion- and seeing it all come together is incredibly rewarding.
What stands out most is the overwhelming support we receive. The number of companies and individuals who sponsor and back our efforts shows that people truly believe in what we’re doing. It’s a reflection of the trust and respect we’ve built in the community.
Being able to unite women from all walks of life for an evening of fun, while making a tangible difference for those in need, is something I’m deeply proud of. It’s not just about the funds- it’s about the impact, the unity, and the shared purpose.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle has been getting the right message across. Because the SWAT event is filled with fun, energy, and celebration, some people may assume it's just a party. But the true purpose of the event is to raise funds to support women and children in need.
It’s important for us that our audience is aware that this is not for personal gain- we make no profit from the event at all. Every cent of the proceeds is directed toward donations and causes that matter deeply to us.
We work incredibly hard behind the scenes to ensure the event’s success, and we do it all with the goal of making a real difference.
