With over 19 years of combined experience, Danica and Stephanie have transformed Salt n' Light Creative into a trailblazing connector of brands and culture, trusted by leading names like Hyundai, Mr Price, L'Oréal Paris, Hyprop Investments, SKULPT, EL&N London, and Tiger's Milk. Our work is as strategic as it is creative rooted in data, audience insight, and an eye for what moves culture forward.

What is your biggest success?
As Co-Founder of Salt n’ Light Creative, my greatest success has been establishing a respected, purpose-driven agency known for being professional, trustworthy, ethical, and approachable. Building the Salt n’ Light brand from the ground up into a go-to creative partner in the industry has been a proud achievement. From signing our first retainer client to securing collaborations with major brands in fashion, beauty, automotive, lifestyle, and food - each milestone has reflected growth and resilience. One of the most rewarding successes is having individuals and public figures trust us to build and elevate their personal and professional brands. Creating employment, having a dedicated team, opening our own office space, and building long-term client relationships all speak to sustainable growth. Most importantly, seeing our work positively impact clients, communities, and young creatives has been a powerful measure of success beyond just the bottom line.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
One of the biggest hurdles has been securing new business and brand contracts in a highly competitive industry where gatekeeping is still a challenge. As a growing agency, we've often faced roadblocks when trying to access decision-makers or build relationships with larger corporates, not because of lack of capability, but due to limited access and a reluctance within the industry to share contacts, resources, or insights. It’s disheartening when the assumption is that reaching out means trying to take clients, when in reality we’re simply trying to grow through genuine opportunity. At Salt n’ Light Creative, we believe in the power of collaboration over competition. We’ve had to work twice as hard to break through barriers, but we’ve remained consistent, professional, and true to our values which has ultimately helped us earn trust and build a reputable name through authenticity and persistence.
