What does your company do?
Our company empowers families to raise ethically grounded, emotionally intelligent children through a research-backed, values-driven parenting programme. We design immersive story-based learning tools and interactive activities that guide parents in teaching core values—such as empathy, integrity, and resilience—to their children in engaging, age-appropriate ways. Our programme combines original storytelling (50+ culturally inclusive narratives) with hands-on exercises, enabling families to explore moral dilemmas, model positive behaviours, and strengthen bonds through shared experiences. To ensure measurable growth, we provide evidence-based tools like the Behaviour Monitoring Chart, which tracks children’s value-aligned actions, and the Value Mapping Matrix, a dynamic framework that assesses both parental consistency in modelling values and children’s internalization of these principles. By blending narrative-driven learning with progress-tracking technology, we equip parents to transform everyday interactions into teachable moments, fostering lifelong character development. Through workshops, digital resources, and community partnerships, we train caregivers to become intentional role models, bridging the gap between aspirational values and daily practice—one story, one conversation, and one family at a time.
What is your biggest success?
Our values-driven parenting programme has achieved significant recognition, with storybooks rigorously reviewed and endorsed by educators at leading institutions like St. Stithians College and Calvary Christian College, who praised their effectiveness in teaching empathy, responsibility, and critical thinking. Building on this momentum, we are finalising rollout plans with these schools to integrate our resources into their parenting and life skills curricula. Further validating our impact, the Anglican Board of Education and the Catholic Institute of Education have expressed strong interest in adopting the programme across their SADC-affiliated schools, recognising its potential to bridge cultural and ethical education gaps. These partnerships mark a pivotal step in scaling our mission to nurture values-driven generations, combining academic credibility with faith-based community trust to reach thousands of families regionally. We have also partnered with Sibongile Khumalo, a leading musician, composer and producer to stage a musical at the State Theatre on values-driven parenting.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our journey encountered significant challenges, including limited funding, which initially restricted scaling and forced prioritisation of core modules over rapid expansion. Access to markets proved difficult as breaking into established education networks required navigating bureaucratic processes and proving efficacy to sceptical stakeholders. Digitising materials emerged as a critical hurdle, demanding costly tech investments and expertise we lacked early on; we addressed this through partnerships with edtech developers to create interactive digital platforms. Limited human capacity strained our small team, requiring us to train community facilitators and volunteers to extend reach without compromising quality. Despite these obstacles, persistence and strategic alliances—such as piloting the programme with pioneering schools, enabled incremental progress. These challenges honed our adaptability, proving that resourcefulness and community collaboration can transform constraints into catalysts for sustainable, inclusive growth. Today, these lessons underpin our resilient, scalable model.
