Norah Sehunoe
Santam Acting Chief Operating Officer
A passionate HR professional and qualified coach with over 20 years’ experience in financial services. Norah holds a master’s degree in industrial psychology (UNISA), and a post-graduate diploma in Business Management (Wits). Her experience spans the entire HR value-chain, and she has partnered with several Business Executive teams to deliver on the business strategy through unlocking the potential of the human capital. Norah’s passion lies in authentic leadership development, turning good managers into amazing servant leaders and she loves working with young adults – because it is never too early to build leadership qualities.
Norah believe that the future of this country strongly depends on our youth and entrepreneurship. A youth that understands that tenacity builds character and that your background does not determine your value in this world.
She believes so strongly in this that she coaches and mentors young people and absolutely loves to witness their growth as they discover and unleash their own greatness. “I have seen the value of mentorship and coaching in my own life and being able to pay that forward enables me to continue growing in my own leadership. This country has a huge talent, waiting to be unleashed and nurtured and I want to be part of that story” says Norah.
What you would be looking for in the next WOTF?
I am looking for authentic women who can see past all the hardships and challenges and remain hopeful that tomorrow will be a better day. Women who can be present enough in the moment to understand their impact on others but be futuristic enough to inspire those around them.
